How a lawyer mum was arrested in courtroom for leaving her two kids outside in the car

A lawyer was arrested after allegedly leaving her children in the car while she was in court. A passerby noticed two toddlers locked inside a car in the Riverdale Municipal Court parking lot around 8:15 a.m. Thursday. The individual went into the courthouse and alerted an officer who checked and found the children were left unattended. The officer went in the courthouse and made an announcement asking if anyone knew who the children belonged to. Lawyer Kimberly Bandoh, a former magistrate judge in Clayton County, admitted the children were hers. Bandoh was in the courtroom representing a client since at least 8 a.m. Bandoh was arrested for leaving the children unattended in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge. Chief Olu Falae who was yesterday escorted back home by security operatives after been kidnapped for 4 days said he slept on the floor during that time and trekked several kilometers with his kidnappers. Falae said this while narrating his ordeal in the hands of his abductors to the state governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko who visited him after he was excorted  home by the Police. He said he had been kidnapped Fulani herdsmen  who invaded his farm on Monday. According to him, after he was kidnapped he was made to trek with the herdsmen from his farm located at Ilado in Akure North to Owo in the same state. Falae told the governor that for the four days he was with the Fulani herdsmen he slept on bare ground and trekked several kilometers throughout the night to get to the hideout of the kidnappers. A brave 7 year old boy, Oliver Johnson-Platt, saved his 2 year old brother, Gabriel, from drowning on a family holiday when he saw him jump into the pool and sink to the bottom. Oliver immediately dived in to help. The 7-year-old used skills he learnt at his local pool during the dramatic rescue. Mum Sarah, who witnessed the whole thing, said Oliver had just completed his lifesaving qualification a week before the holiday. She said: “We were on the first day of our holiday and we had only been at the pool for an hour or so. A fake lawyer, Olawale Falola, who claimed to be a dropout of a university in Osun State was arrested by the Oyo State Police Command during a stop-and-search in Ibadan recently. It was gathered that after seeing a sticker belonging to the Nigeria Bar Association on his windscreen, the police asked him about his identity, but he couldnt defend his 'Lawyer' status. He said he made N6m from victims whom he promised to help secure jobs at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC. According to him: “I paraded myself as a lawyer and I have taken money from more than 100 people. I promised to get jobs for them at NNPC and security organisations. I have made up to N4m from the practice out of which I bought a Toyota Corolla car. I lived in Osogbo. Woman stabs 13yrs old maid and hide her from the police

A trader, Esther Bello, has been arrested by the Lagos state Police for allegedly abusing her 13-year-old househelp, Titi, in Obanikoro, Lagos. According to Punch Metro, Policemen from the Pedro station were called by neighbours after Titi ran out of her madam's house with a bleeding hand that had been cut deep in 3 places. She explained that her madam, Esther had caused the injuries and threatened to kill her if she raised any alarm.. However, when the Police got to the apartment, Esther lied that the maid had travelled to the Ikorodu area with a friend.   According to one of the neighbours who witnessed the incident, at about 1:30 am on Wednesday, the maid, who was said to be from Cotonou, Benin Repubic, ran out of the house with a bleeding hand and told neighbours she had been cut by Esther with a broken bottle.
