Madan Omogbene Adeborile was reportedly abducted at her
Igbotako resident by the kidnappers who came in a Toyota

They were able to escape with the old woman following the
confusion that occurred after the shooting took place in the
town.

Peoples Democratic Party PDP chairman in one of the
wards in Igbotako .

Narrating the incident to newsmen in Akure weekend a
National Assembly member representing Okitipupa| Irele
Federal constituency, Hon Mke Omogbehin said the
hoodlums carried out their evil act unchallenged because they
were heavily armed forcing the people to run for their lives.
Omogbehin called on security agents to help secure her
release and redouble security in the area as the people now
leave in fear, coupled with the perennial black out in the
southern senatorial area of the state in the last one year..

Confirming the incident, the state police commissioner, Isaac
Eke said though details are still sketchy but that his men are
already on the trail of the kidnappers.
In another development, a policeman and six others have
been arrested over their alleged involvement in the robbery

Also arrested include the the chief driver attached to the
Commission.

boxes of the commissions vehicles.

brain boxes and other valuable items.
