Man butchered & dumped in front of Yaba Tech this morning (very graphic photos)

My blogging will cease soon because I'm in transit, flying back to Nigeria but I'm going to keep blogging until I'm no longer able to (when I finally get on the plane to Lagos). Anyway, so I just received photos of a horrific incident that happened in Lagos today. A guy named Quadri and alleged to be a cultist, was killed in the very early hours of today and dumped in front of Yaba College of Technology. He had multiple stab wounds from most likely a broken bottle. His killers also opened his stomach. The photos are extremely gory. I'm trying to get more details about what happened from my source. I'm not sure if the guy was a student of the school. Will update later..for now see the photos after the cut *warning - very graphic*

Man set ablaze for stealing a woman pot of soup

CALABAR—A mob in Calabar, Cross River State capital, yesterday, butchered a young man and set the remains on fire beside Atu Secondary School fence along Goldie Street, for allegedly robbing a woman of a pot of soup. His two accomplices escaped. The hoodlum, in the company of two others, were alleged to have attacked the woman at Mayne Avenue Extension in Calabar South. They were allegedly attracted by the aroma of the soup the woman was warming for her family’s breakfast before heading for early morning mass at nearby St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. A young man, who lives in the same premises with the lady, said as the robbers were about to get out of the compound with the pot of soup, the woman raised the alarm, prompting neighbours to go after them. Septuagenarian inlaw of Oba Akinruntan kidnapped in Ondo

At least six gun wielding suspected kidnappers have reportedly abducted a septuagenarian inlaw of the business mogul and the Olugbo of Ugbo, in Ondo state Oba Fredrick Akinruntan . Madan Omogbene Adeborile was reportedly abducted at her Igbotako resident by the kidnappers who came in a Toyota car and shot sporadically into the air to scare the people. They were able to escape with the old woman following the confusion that occurred after the shooting took place in the town. Vanguard gathered that the victim is also the wife to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP chairman in one of the wards in Igbotako .
