Military action alone can't defeat war against terror- Buhari says

President Muhammadu Buhari in a statement delivered on Tuesday at the Global Leaders’ Summit on Countering ISIL and Violent Extremism organised by President Barack Obama on the sideline of the 70th United Nations General Assembly in New York said military action alone would never be enough to end terrorism and extremism around the globe. He said good governance, transparency, accountability and rule of law, are some of the best ways to start the process of ridding the world of terrorism. Man who killed and took his 74yrs old dad's heart, Turn his self to the police

Remember Nelson Oamen, the 34-year-old drug addict who allegedly stabbed his 74 year old Dad, Ehiremen Oamen, to death and took his heart on Sept. 21st in Ipaja, Lagos? Well, he turned himself in to the police at the Ipaja Police Division on Thursday and has since been reportedly transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba, for further investigation.   PUNCH   Metro learnt that Nelson walked into the police station to report himself on Thursday and allegedly confessed to the crime. The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joe Offor, confirmed the arrest. He said: “The man has been arrested. Ojo Emmanuel, who was arrested over the weekend for allegedly writing against Gov. Amosu's wife on Facebook was granted bail today at the Magistrate court in Isabo Abeokuta but was surprising not released. After meeting the bail requirements as at 4:00pm today the Judge of the State Magistrate court suddenly refused to sign the bail bond of Mr. Ojo Emmanuel. We received news that the sudden turn of event is as a result of an order from Governor Amosun. Ojo has been taken to prison instead of his home. Against the pronouncement made this afternoon." It doesn't matter how much they warn...it's not going to stop! Showing off is the main purpose of instagram. Lol. A security expert and Lagos Police Command spokesperson, DSP Joseph Offor says showing off on social media is a security risk and would advice people to calm down on it.  "It's not advisable for anyone, whether you're a celebrity or not, to post your personal acquisitions on social media.
