Pregnant 12 years old girl may be the British youngest mother

Current youngest mum in the UK A teenager is facing life in prison after he got a 12-year-old girl pregnant in Belfast. The schoolgirl allegedly got pregnant after having sex with a 19-year-old man.  If she carries to full-term, the young girl - whose family are said to be in shock - could become one of Britain's youngest mothers. Police confirmed that the 19-year-old was arrested last Thursday after the pregnancy was reported to police and has been released on bail, pending further inquiries. Public offices from 1999 should be probe - Ofeimum

At the exhibition of books written by Nigeria’s Poet, and public commentator, Odia Ofeimun, tagged, Special 40-Plus Book Exhibition that took place yesterday at the Agip Recital Hall of The Muson Centre, Lagos, former governor of Ogun State, Chief Segun Osoba, said that past public office holders since the transfer of power to civilian government in 1999 should all be probed. He said: “Those who have held public offices in the civilian era should all come back and account for their stewardship, if you really want everybody to be accountable, I’m suggesting that the president should make all of us come back and account for whatever we did when we were in offices since 1999, since the return of civilian government. There should be thorough examinations of our actions, 2003 was not under Jonathan, so the probe must begin from 1999 because once you pull the root, the root will pull all the grass around.

WTF?? 19-years-old rapes chicken to death

A KURE—  A-19-year-old apprentice welder (names withheld) was caught today making love to a hen. The fowl reportedly died during the act. The taboo was said to have been committed by the apprentice at about 11.20 p.m. at Continental area of Akure metropolis. The suspect,  Vanguard  learnt, had committed same taboo with a goat in his home town, Afo in Ose council area of the state. He was said to have been ex-communicated from his home town because of the offence which made him to move in with his brother in Akure. Speaking with newsmen, the owner of fowl, Mrs Stella Akintola, who resides in the same building confirmed that the man actually made love to her chicken. Buhari orders investigation of EFCC Boss

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered a discreet investigation of the leadership of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over sundry allegations of acts incompatible with leadership of the anti crime agency. EFCC-boss-Ibrahim-Lamorde Investigations by Vanguard revealed that the investigations is being coordinated by the office of the National Security Adviser and involves officials from the National Intelligence Agency and the Department of State Services. A source in the office of the National Security Adviser told Vanguard that the investigation commenced before the widely publicised by Dr. George Uboh, Chief Executive Officer, Panic Alert Security Services alleging that Ibrahim Lamorde, Chairman, EFCC through various fraudulent Acts/Omissions could not account seized monies amounting to over one (1) Trillion Naira” .

16 dead, 10 injured in Yobe Explosions

Damaturu – Sixteen people have died and 10 others were injured in multiple explosions on Wednesday morning in Damaturu, Yobe capital. Alhaji Musa Idi, Executive Secretary, State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), confirmed the story to newsmen in Damaturu on Wednesday. Theexplosions took place around Ministry of Housing quarters and Buhari Housing Estate in Damaturu.
